Vida Auténtica: Growing Change One Farmer at a Time

Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food. ― Hippocrates

Gotu Kola is a medicinal herb that has been used for centuries in Ayurvedic and traditional Chinese medicine. Considered a brain tonic, it is said to improve intelligence and memory as well as strengthen the adrenal glands and promote longevity.

In India it is believed to develop the crown chakra, the energy center at the top of the head believed to be a tool to communicate with our spiritual nature.  With all of these amazing medicinal properties, Gotu Kola should surely be a part of your regular diet.

We are excited to share a fresh, simple recipe that marries east and west -- one whose ingredients -- including the Gotu Kola from Meyella Rojas -- you can find at Feria Organica Tinamastes on Tuesdays!
